I’ve used one of my favourite glazes for these bowls: the rich green, with its shades of copper and cobalt blue, is just so mesmerising. Nearer the centre of the bowl, where the glaze pools and is thickest, there are strong notes of blue: towards the upper parts the green dominates. It’s such a great green.
I’ve left the outside of the bowls unglazed. This is mainly because I really like the contrast between the smooth, shiny green and the rougher, unglazed, toasty clay. The contrast works well in terms of colour and texture.
Each bowl is approximately 14cm in width (at the rim) and 8.4cm in height. They hold about 400ml of liquid. Great for soup or cereal and they stack really well!
